01Introduction#

The Raksham Labs KAMAL NAV GM1 GNSS Module is a dual-band L1/L5 navigation board for UAVs and autonomous robotics. It combines a u-blox DAN-F10N GNSS receiver, an MMC5983MA 3-axis magnetometer, a protected RF front-end, an onboard active patch antenna, an external U.FL antenna connector, and a single 6-pin JST SH flight-controller interface.

The board is intended for airframes that need cleaner fixes than a single-band GNSS module can provide, while still keeping wiring simple for ArduPilot, PX4, and custom flight-control stacks.

02Who this is for#

  • UAV integrators building primary navigation and compass modules
  • Flight controller developers parsing NMEA or UBX over UART
  • Robotics teams that need GNSS plus heading in one module
  • Test engineers validating antenna placement, RF noise, and fix stability

03What's in the box#

  • 1x KAMAL NAV GM1 GNSS module
  • 1x 6-pin JST SH 1.0 mm cable
  • Quick-start pinout and antenna placement reference
Bench test before flight

Validate lock time, fix rate, UART baud rate, compass orientation, and antenna placement on the bench before installing the module inside an airframe.
